Welcome to Pengrowth Community Investment.
As Pengrowth grows, our Community Investment program
continues to evolve. We continue to establish and
nurture meaningful partnerships with key organizations
that align with our corporate values and goals.
Pengrowth provides funding for community partners in
areas of education, health, leadership development,
significant community need, youth and sports. We prefer
to partner with organizations that develop life-long
skills, including character development, leadership
training and mentoring and sustainable values in
sportsmanship, honesty, fair play and hard work.
We are investing in community energy by making our
donation and sponsorship requests and related guidelines
more accessible and user friendly. This important aspect
of our business will change and improve.

| Donation Guidelines |
All Pengrowth donation and sponsorship requests are
evaluated using a set of guidelines:
- The request meets an important and pressing
community need
- A relationship to Pengrowth operations and its team
members can be verified
- The request does not duplicate existing programs,
services or facilities offered by Pengrowth
- The project fits with Pengrowth’s corporate values
and principles that include
- A passion for excellence
- Valuing our people
- Being good corporate citizens
- Innovative Leadership
- Funding will help support as broad a group in the
community as possible
- The non-profit organization does not discriminate or
exclude individuals or groups from participation or
membership
- The non-profit organization for which the team
member is requesting funding is financially healthy and
well managed
- The non-profit organization is a tax-registered
charity, association, community organization or
not-for-profit agency with a published list of directors
and officers and is able to provide current financial
statements upon request
- The request includes a clear statement of the
expected use of Pengrowth’s financial contribution and a
clear outline of benefits expected to be achieved by the
non-profit organization
Pengrowth is not able to support the following requests:
- Organizations without a tax-registered/non-profit
society number
- Telephone solicitations, including fundraising
programs carried out by third-party fundraisers or
professional solicitors
- Activities that take place in areas where Pengrowth
has no significant operations, interests or team members
- Gifts to individuals or individual applicants
- Travel expenses including, but not limited to,
accommodation, meal expenses, field trips, tours,
conference or seminar fees
- Stand-alone research or feasibility studies
- Service clubs or fraternal organizations
- Groups whose activity is focused primarily or
exclusively on the advocacy of a particular religion or
advancement of a social point of view
- Courtesy or goodwill advertising
- Subscription fees, insurance premiums or any payment
not made as a direct gift
